Credit Card Question?
I've been getting all these offers for credit cards and I've considered seeing how much my credit line would be. My question is what if I get approved for a credit card and when I receive it in the mail decide that I no longer want the credit card, would I still have to pay and such and would it appear negative on my credit?
It would look like a negative on your report. You should use only what you can pay off at the end of the month. If you are not going to use it dont cancel it.

The only thing you may have to pay if you dont use it at all is the yearly fee if they have one. If you decide you dont want it, then it would be best to cancel it.
Saying that though, from someone who has got into a lot of trouble with debt, if you can afford to live without it, DONT GET ONE!!

It would be a negative on your credit report if you opened and closed several credit cards. Why would you want to know how much credit you can get? Live within your means that is all the credit you need. Use debt for positive results and that is it.
