|I'm not sure insurance plans are worth the money |
I've done some checkins related to our insurance plan. Let's see: my wife and I pay around $380 a year. The thing is that none of us has been to the dentist this year, so we don't use our insurance. It keeps our teeth cleaned every six months, which is spectacular, but let's do the calculations: if we only cleaned our teeth, we would spend around $80 each and we could just save around $140 a year to use it to dental procedures. If I'll have a cavity to fill, I would take the chance to pay it from my pocket.
