What are your skills? If you have good computer skills (can work with Flash, etc.), you might find individual jobs on Craigslist. A lot of projects like that are outsourced. Do you know your way around Office? What about medical billing at home?
If your husband works 9-5, what about a part-time night job as a cashier or clerk? He can get some time alone with the kids and you can get some likely needed out-of-the-house time and the daycare issue is solved.
The only way to chance not getting scammed online with jobs is to be your own employer, rather than somebody else's employee. Sure, there are reputable companies online, but the trick is to find them, and that's not always easy. |

Oh my gosh you sound exactly like me!!
I am lucky, I get to schedule my appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I take my son to a babysitter on those days. The other days of the week I do my drawing and ordering for the customer's jobs. It is a one of a kind job. I hope you can find something that works for you! |

ive explored these before...
also, depending on where you live many jobs offer flexible schedules (maybe 2 days in the office), and some offer the ability to full work from home...both of which can start after a probationalarypeor, sometimes just 90 days...this way you know the company is solid, they just happen to be flexible about WHERE you do the work
also, you could take courses online, or perhaps at a univesity or community college nearby...either receiving a degree in english, or receiving a proofreading or editiing certification...proofreaders and editors often work fully from home...so it takes a little planning, but the reward (working fom home, good pay) is there in the end...
also, for work from time to time check Craigslt, people often need short-term help cleaning or hauling something, or filing for a few hours....every little bit of cash coming in helps i think
